5th Successful Lawn to Garden Project in Partnership with RTLB and LBWD
On March 16th, HOPE completed its 5th conversion of a water thirsty lawn into a drought tolerant landscape in conjunction with Rebuilding Together Long Beach and the Long Beach Water Department. Employees from KKR Investments provided the volunteer labor, and the plants were donated by United Plant Growers, Ricardo's Nursery, Jaime's Landscaping, Garibaldo's Nursery, and UVA Nursery. This continuing initiative supports statewide water conservation efforts while lowering HOPE's water expenses.
